I had the pleasure of photographing Alice’s 70th birthday celebration at the Greenbrier Resort. Her daughter Emily got in touch with me and asked me to come to take some candid shots and a few family photos to keep in memory of such a special day. It was a lovely June day, perfect for a party. The celebration was held at the Florida Guest House at the Greenbrier Resort.
Alice was in great company with her siblings, cousins, grandchildren, and even some of her high school friends. Three of her high school friends gave a lovely toast and speech that recalled of their days together growing up in Greenbrier County. When the time came to cut the cake, the grandchildren were there to help. They assisted Alice in blowing out her candles and rejoiced in celebration.
I had so much fun taking these photos. Everyone was so kind to me. I’ve taken family photos for some of the guests at the party, and will be taking more photos for them in just a couple of weeks.
