Heather and John came all the way from Florida to have their wedding at the Swift Level Farm in Lewisburg WV. Heather had visited Swift Level with her grandparents when she was a young girl. Swift Level Farm is one of my favorite wedding venues for multiple reasons. It’s so scenic and historic. The day started with the ladies getting ready up stairs in the main house and the guys getting ready downstairs. Heather and John exchanged letters. I loved seeing the deep emotion on John’s face as he wrote his letter to Heather. Once everyone was ready we headed outside with the guys and then with the girls. The couple chose not to do a first look, so we were careful to keep the couple from seeing each other before the ceremony.
The ceremony was held on the front lawn of the main house. There was a short reception and then family photos. We then drove down the road to the Herns Mill Covered Bridge for couple’s photos.
The reception was in the main barn, with beautiful rustic decor. The couple ended the evening by heading out to The Greenbrier to finish out their weekend.
