This was one of Jake’s earliest shoots and it as very last minute in terms of the choice of video or photo.
He was the second shooter for me that day and was only supposed to do photo only but he happened to have his gimbal in his gear bag so he decided to do a little video for the special moment.
At this point he hadn't even seen a surprise proposal let alone one that was at the Greenbrier Hotel! So he absolutely had to grab the opportunity and make it happen. They were more than excited when they realized he was recording the entire time especially Jess, the fiance, who was the most surprised of anyone obviously.
We are looking forward to doing more video of surprise proposals anywhere and everywhere that we can, this was such a fun shoot.
